These first ones I found on the internet, because I forgot to take pictures myself. Art and I spent the first two nights at Inn at the Forks in Winnipeg.

When you first walk in the door of the Riverstone Suite, this is what you see: behold our sitting room.

(Yes, that is a flat-screen TV. And a waterfall-in-the-wall).
This was our bathroom. Note that is has a regular shower head and a rainwater shower head. Oh, and a huge jacuzzi tub.

And of course, the bedroom, with the larger-than-life headboard. And another flat-screen TV.

I dream of going back to this suite all the time. It was so luxurious. And I got two words for you: room service.
The rest of our honeymoon was spent in Almost Paradise, right close to the Mt. Rainier National Park. (See, it's funny because Paradise is a town in the park. We stayed just outside the park).
This was the view driving there. (I took a lot of these pictures, and I don't know why. They all look the same).

We stopped and took pictures of Alder Dam. Woot.

(Actually, the view was really cool, but pictures never do it justice).
I failed to take a picture of the cute cabin we stayed in (complete with an outdoor hot tub - here's a link to the website though.). So this is the next day, on our first hike. That's Mt. Rainier in the background.

Nisqually Falls. We pulled over just to take some pictures, and ended up going on a two-hour hike, and got lost, and almost didn't find our way back to our car.

Me being sprayed by the falls.

The view from where I was standing, in the spray.

Art pretending to eat dirty snow. Half our hike was snow. Forget that it was the middle of July. That's probably one of the reasons we got lost: snow was covering the trail, and we didn't know where to go.

Reflection Lake. As in, the mountain is supposed to be reflected in the lake. I tried, okay? Google it if you want to see the real deal.

Another reason we may have gotten lost: we refused to cross this sketchy bridge. See the raging waters beneath?

Rainier's peak, a little closer. After we found our car, we drove up here for a short, intentional hike on a paved trail called Nisqually Vista.

...aaaaaand we encountered more snow. Our guide book said something about lush meadows. Right.

That's me, slip-sliding my way up. I feel bad for Art. He was doing a little more slippin' and slidin'. Hence him taking a picture from way behind me.

I thought this sign was ironic: "Preserve fragile meadows. Stay on paved trail."

The view from the top of the trail was worth it though. And we found a few meadows.

Apparently, Art takes better pictures than I do.

Shortly after this picture was taken, my camera died. And I forgot to take along the spare battery. And my battery charger. Sooooooo I hope you enjoyed seeing ONE day's worth of pictures from my camera, because.....that's all I can show you.
Some other notes from our honeymoon: we went out for dinner once; the rest of the time we cooked for ourselves in our cabin. Art made me the best salmon I've ever tasted. He also booked an in-cabin massage for both of us as a surprise. It was heavenly.
I assure you, the rest of our honeymoon was fun and full of great hikes, and offered just as many amazing photo opportunities. You'll just have to take my word for it.

The last 2 pictures are my favorites!
Hooray for picture blogs! Congratulations on getting out from under your blanket/off the couch :) I know what you mean though, I have ipctures of the kids from this weekend, and I'm slow to get them up.
I love your pics though. The Inn looks soooo nice. And I LOVE room service. Mmm...food. It's my favorite.
Thanks for sharing some pics from your honeymoon. That bridge looked pretty scary. Probably was even more scary seeing and hearing the water rushing underneath it. Still waiting for that family picture. Love you.
Those pictures are beautiful, Jenene! So lovely. I'd love to go there one day (it's actually on my list of places to see).
