So, as you can see, that countdown is done, except it was one day off. My sister's due date is Oct. 27, which is tomorrow. In any case, my sister has been on mat leave for 2 weeks now, so the waiting game has officially begun.
The funny thing is, she has been doing everything she can to make her body go into labor. She's following all of those myths/tips about walking, and squats, and raspberry leaf tea...but no baby yet! She said very recently that God is giving her the strength and patience to simply wait. She isn't anxious at all!
And she's right, even if she goes 2 weeks overdue, 2 weeks is not very long in the grand scheme of things. And that baby is gonna have to come out at some point! I guess that means that everybody else is officially more impatient than the mother-to-be!

ah yes -- i know how your sister feels. i was 10 days over due with shi fry. and i thought i would be early so i was waiting nearly a month for her to make her appearance. but now, in hindsight..she came at the perfectt time.
